If you do one thing in Mallorca, do this experience.
The food, the farm, the people (hosts & guests) - all are amazing.
Kimsu and her family are welcoming, fun, caring, and devastatingly interesting. Not only did she help me find my way to their finca, but when I arrived (late), she went out of her way to catch me up on the details of the farm that the rest of the group had heard earlier in the night.
The food was delicious. Everything was so fresh and tasty. I think every single one of us went back for seconds and still managed to eat all of the dessert (my favorite dish, fresh strawberry shortcake). Being around such a beautiful finca and incredible food made the conversation with other guests easy and fun as well. I deeply appreciated the alcohol as well as the amuse bouche (homemade tomato tart and champagne by the pear trees). Kimsu and her family were the perfect hosts, serving us, clearing the table, and generally making sure we had anything we needed, but also retiring to the nearby kitchen towards the end of the meal to allow us space.
The experience didn't end after that - Kimsu's son, Cian, brought me and another guest back to Palma after failing to call a taxi. We had the best time with him and his friends, and ended up supporting him in a paddle tournament in Soller the next day! From there, we spent the day on the water, eating, drinking, and getting to know each other. In a way, it felt like the experience never ended.
Overall, this experience profoundly changed my Mallorca vacation for the better. I will be back - to Kimsu's farm / table & Mallorca!
